The Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), in support of the Multifunctional Information Distribution (MIDS) Program Office (MPO) (PMA/W-101) , intends to issue a sole source Request for Proposal (RFP) to L3 Telemetry and Radio Frequency (L3 T&RF) Products for the production of National Security Agency (NSA) certified MIDS Weapons Data Link (WDL) Small Form Factor Weapons Attritable Radio Multi-Mode (SWARMM) Family 1 (SF1) radios. The authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C 3204(a)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS Responses to this notice of intent to issue an RFP to L3 T&RF should be submitted no later than five (5) calendar days from the date of this synopsis to Lindsay Nickel, Contracting Officer for NAVWAR via email at Lindsay.t.nickel.civ@us.navy.mil.
