NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs Dayton VAMC, 4100 W 3rd St, Dayton OH 45428 intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). The NAICS code is 332994 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Sig Sauer Inc at 72 Pease BLVD, Newington NH, 03801-6801. ***Dayton VAMC Romeo-X Optics****   SORX1300 ROMEO-X REFLEX SIGHT, ENCLOSED, PRO FOOTPRINT, CIRCLE DOT, BLACK 42 EA All Sig Sauer P320s are required to be equipped with slide mounted optics. Contractor will provide options for the P320s as a one-time purchase to the Dayton VA Police Service. Contractor will provide 42 ROMEO-X REFLEX SIGHT, ENCLOSED, PRO FOOTPRINT, CIRCLE DOT, BLACK Carry to the Dayton VA Police Service. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 12:00pm EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.  All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
